Lock Down Your Sensitive Information
In an era of endless data breaches and accidental email forwards, sending sensitive information as an open PDF is incredibly risky. If you are a lawyer sending a confidential settlement, an accountant emailing a client's tax returns, or HR sending out payroll details, you have a legal and ethical obligation to protect that data.
The DocuVerse Protect PDF tool allows you to put a digital padlock on any document in a matter of seconds.
Bank-Level 256-bit AES Encryption
When you add a password using our tool, we don't just add a superficial lock. We completely encrypt the internal contents of the file using Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) with a 256-bit key length.
This is the exact same cryptographic standard used by banks, military organizations, and governments worldwide. Without the correct password, it is mathematically impossible for anyone (including us!) to open, read, or extract data from your PDF.
Important Human Warning!
Because this encryption is so powerful, we cannot recover your password if you forget it. There is no "Forgot Password" button for encrypted PDFs. We highly recommend using a password manager or storing the password in a secure physical location before locking your only copy of a vital document.
